The business evolved over the following 30 years with the support of his committed staff and valuable, long-serving clients.


Melican Partners Financial Planning is now considered one of the Diamond Valley’s leading Accountants, with a diverse mix of clients which include local retailers, manufacturers, tradespeople, family groups, individuals and large-scale commercial enterprises.

Gavin Melican

Director
Gavin is the founder and director of Melican Partners Financial Planning. He is both an Accountant and licenced Financial Planner, with over 35 years’ experience in the industry.

Gavin established the accounting business in 1989, growing the business to include a financial planning arm, and emerging as one of the Diamond Valley’s leading professional services firms.

Given the success of both his accounting business and other entrepreneurial ventures, Gavin is passionate about sharing his expertise and using his many years’ experience in business to mentor and guide other budding entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Luke Arthur

Accountant

Luke has more than 15 years’ experience in Public Practice and 15 years’ experience in business management. He holds a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University.
Luke’s skills include accounting, taxation, statutory reporting and management.


Outside of work, Luke’s priority is his young family. He also enjoys playing basketball, riding motorbikes and going to watch Hawthorn play.

Linda McElroy

Accountant
Linda is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in public practice and industry. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University.

Linda began her career at Melican Grainger before taking up a graduate position at a Big 4 accounting firm where she spent time in Audit and Global Mobility.

She then spent 4 years in the travel industry before returning to public practice.

Linda is a passionate traveller and foodie, loves spending time with her dogs and can always be found with a good book.

Jawad Khan

Accountant
Jawad has 5 years experience in public practice and possesses a versatile background of dealing with areas of taxation, financial and management accounting.

Jawad holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and currently undertaking the CA Australia accreditation.
